Ramiz Gokce special exhibition

Cyprus, September 24, 2002 - On the first anniversary of the death
of veteran Turkish Cypriot cartoonist, Ramiz Gokce
an exhibition of portrait caricatures was organized by the Turkish
Cypriot Cartoonists Association. The show consisted of 38 caricatures
from 13 countries and was given home in the Osman Gokce Exhibition
Hall of the Famagusta Municipality in Cyprus. Among the participating
artists were Abdulkadir Uslu (Turkey), Adenle
Adewale (Nigeria), Arif A. Albayrak (Cyprus),
Atila Ozer (Turkey), Carlos Amorim
(Brazil), Eduardo Caldari Jr. (Brazil), Eray
Ozbek (Turkey), Kazo Kanala (Slovakia),
Miroslav Gerencer (Croatia), Nezih Danyal
(Turkey), and Nikolai Kapusa (Ukraine). The caricature
