John Weber News Desk John Weber writes for both the printed page and for the ear, having contributed articles to The Comic Buyer's Guide and WittyWorld, and currently co-writing the nationally syndicated weekly radio program The Oldies Countdown, which was awarded the 2001 Gold Medal for Best Regularly Scheduled Music Program by the New York Festivals. He spent twelve years producing (and occasionally hosting) issue-oriented talk programming at WWDB and WCAU Radio in Philadelphia, as well as several years co-producing and co-writing the award-winning Talkin' Baseball radio program for the Philadelphia Phillies Radio Network. Currently, Weber is the Senior Director of Programming Operations for MJI Programming in New York, a division of Premiere Radio Networks, where he has produced live radio broadcasts of the Grammy Awards and the Country Music Association Awards, and has overseen the production of radio specials featuring Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Alabama, Eric Clapton and many more.
