Witold Tkaczyk is an architect by education who also studied art history. The art director of the biggest daily newspaper in the Poznan region, he also works as a cartoonist, comics artist, and comics critique. Tkaczyk is a member of the jury of Poland's biggest comics competition in Lódz. In 1993 he established the first Polish comics magazine AQQ, which is considered the most reliable source of information on comics in Poland. Tkaczyk is also the publisher of a magazine for funny comics KOMIXORAMA. His publishing company, ZIN ZIN PRESS, has also put out comics albums such as "Tiger" and "Ern."
